Today, my baby turns two.  Two years ago I was in a Russian hospital having my fourth child.  How fast these years have gone.  And how we love our baby boy.

You know when I first met Jesy (a LONG time ago), he told me that he was never going to get married and never have children.  It was quite miraculous that I got him to agree to three kids, but imagine my amazement when he agreed to have a fourth.  And every single day, I look at John, and I am so, so happy that Jesy agreed to that fourth child. Funny story- Colin told me the other day that he was never getting married or having children.  Something about these Yeates men.
John- every day you bring happiness and joy into our lives.  You are so funny, sweet, and loving.  I could not think of a better child to round out my motherhood.  I hope your life is as full of as many blessings as you have given me.  Я люблю тебя!

Excuse some of my undergarments in the last picture.  (Lord, I can hear my father fussing me all the way from the US).  But I love this last picture of John.  It just captures his lovely personality all in one photo.
I was thinking this morning that this will probably be the last time John celebrates his birthday in his birth country.  Next year he should turn three in his home country!
